Perhaps the above assertions are correct and perhaps the benefits of these antibiotics are greater than those normally prescribed by ENT’s.  There is no proof of this, however.  In numerous places in the sales copy there is reference to “proven natural sinus infection treatment” or “a proven remedy” or “a proven way to get rid of your sinusitis forever”.  So where is the proof?  Are statistically valid double blind studies cited, for example?  Of course not, there is nothing offered but hype.  Since Joe Johnson claims to be “The world’s highest paid natural medicine researcher”, perhaps he could afford to have some serious testing and product evaluation done on his products.

One rather remarkable aspect of this affair is that the plant extract products are free!  When you spend your $67, it is stated that you are not purchasing the product itself, but you are buying 4 videos that go along with it, and the actual product, the plant extracts that supposedly cure sinusitis, are given to you as a gift!  Is this not a bit strange?

One last bit of deception should be pointed out.  Mr. Johnson’s products are branded “Sinus Doctor”.  As mentioned before, Mr. Johnson is not a doctor at all and has no medical credentials.  To overcome this obvious deficit and brand the product “Sinus Doctor” seems to be shameless to say the least.

In summary, the author of this article has not tried the products themselves and would not be qualified to give a medical opinion of them even if he had (nor would Mr. Johnson, for that matter).  Perhaps the products really do help some people, and hopefully they don’t cause harm.  One wonders how a “researcher” with no medical credentials can come up with a product that is effective when serious drug companies and research labs have not.  His method of discovery is dubious as well:  “Then-acting on a hunch- he found what he was looking for.  One of Mother Nature’s best kept secrets, a natural antibiotic that was just begging to be discovered.  And now it is”.  This hardly sounds like the stuff of serious medical research.

One would have to be pretty desperate to try something like this, although Johnson claims to have sold to 170,000 people.  Again, perhaps these plant extracts in Joe Johnson’s Sinus Doctor Sinus Treatment do help some people, and there is always the placebo effect.  Hopefully, however, they do not cause harmful side effects.  On the whole, color me skeptical.
