Yesterday's NYT featured a story about the Iraq Tourist Board's interest in developing a fantasy island resort on a bombed out island in the middle of the Tigris River. It will include everything a western tourist would want, including a "Tigris Woods" golf club! It is absurd, but it may not be the most absurd thing going on here. Check it out.
